In September, 2003, the governments announced a $50 million
consent decree with P.H. Glatfelter Company and WTM1 (formerly Wisconsin
Tissue Mills, owned by Chesapeake Corporation) to conduct the PCB cleanup
on Little Lake Butte des Morts, at the head of the Lower Fox River.

This meeting will be the public's opportunity to ask questions and hear an explanation of the project from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and federal Department of Justice. Representatives of the agencies will give short presentations, and a question-and-answer period will follow. |
